I have been struggling to implement a reliable method for Tooltips in EasyBlog. I get partial success, but I have found no reliable method for production sites.
The EasyBlog aspect of this is as follows:
I can add Tooltips only if the method uses non-html syntax (for example, curly brackets { } code based on JS, not angle bracket code based on CSS/HTML). 3rd party vendors like RegularLabs Tooltips (the best of these), eXtroTips, and ToolTipGC (both of which are very old, not updated in a long time.
RegularLabs does not work because it is incompatible with my template by RocketTheme. The other two work, b ut weirdly, after a few EasyBlog post saves, the visible curly bracket code converts to functioning tooltip code that is "invisible" in the EB composer.
Rockettheme and RegularLabs don't like each other, and each blames the other for the malfunction, for more than a year now.
Is there an answer for implementing tooltips quickly and reliably within EasyBlog composer?
( I do not want to use any other WYSI editor, because it makes me unable to support my clients; I have to use the tools they use, so I know what the issues are.)
I have deleted all attempts within EB on the callingallpoets site, but will implement one if you think it is worth exploring.
Thanks in advance
Hey Greg,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Hm, I am not sure if I understand your terminology of a "tooltip" because from what we understand, rendering a tooltip happens upon hovering over an element. For instance, http://take.ms/o2FaA

Based on your screen shot, it seems like that "gray tooltip" appears all the time within the content, am I correct? Or does it only render when you select a set of text?
