Hi I have just installed easybog and found that if I use the default theme all works well. When I try to change the default theme to one of the other installed versions all I get in the front-end is a white screen. It seems the page does not load at all. I assume the themes are to be applied like a template option in Joomla or am I on the wrong track here.

Regards,

Brian
Hello Brian,

Which theme you are using that causing this? Can you provide us your backend and FTP access so we can have a better look on your issue here?

Hi Have you forgotten my post? All I need to know is how to change the theme. Do I set the theme I want to default? If this is how to change a theme then we have a software problem. If not how do i change a theme. Please provide me with a response I think I have waited long enough.

Hello Brian,

Hm, we didn't actually forget your post as we are actually still awaiting reply from you. What theme did you try to change to which leaded to the blank page? To change a theme in EasyBlog, you will need to do so by accessing the Themes section at the back end of EasyBlog and clicking on the "star" icon would change the theme.

Hmmm, well that is not correct. I actually responded to your question which is now conveniently missing. At the time I tried several other themes and none of theme worked. You also accessed the back end of our site (2014-12-30 17:15:22) after being provided with a super user account (see attached email). That visit provided me no feedback, was there an outcome?
Please don’t pass the buck to your customer, it only creates disappointment.

For your information the problem is resolved and your user access has been disabled.

Hello Brian,

I'm really sorry about this. We have missed the access details because the details has been sent to our email and not in this forum and unfortunately there were miscommunication among our staffs. Sorry for this inconvenience. However, you did mentioned that the issue is resolved. May I know what causing this issue?

Hi Nik,
Thanks for your reply. I dont really know how the issue got resolved. It may have been a Joomla caching issue or the fact that we use JCH Optimize and this plugins files may not have been updating when we changed the default theme. Either way thank you for your reply, and given this issue is solve I would like to say the component is very good, ie better than installing K2 just for blogging purposes.

Regards,

Brian
