Hi Folks,
I have an old website with a phpBB3 forum that I plan to revamp into a Q&A community website.
I have installed Joomla into a sub-folder and successfully converted the phpBB posts etc. into a Kunena installation.
I haven't configured Kunena or played around with it's settings as I only did that step so I could then import the posts and users etc. to Easy Discuss.
What I have noticed already is that the forum threads Easy Discuss has imported from Kunena only have the first post imported without any of the replies.
Is this a problem with Easy Discuss, or do you think it's a setting in Kunena?
I hoped the importer would bring all discussions etc. into the EasyDiscuss tables and then I could configure what to show on the front end using the Easy Discuss configuration?
I have left both the Kunena forum and Easy Discuss side by side so you can see the difference in post counts etc.
Thanks,
Chris
Hey Chris,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is actually a public day off for us here. Hm, we need to take a look at the database structure and see if these posts that were migrated to Kunena contains the correct data attribute as per Kunena's post.

If you could provide us with the phpmyadmin access, we could try to check on this. By the way, have you tried creating a sample post on Kunena (not the migrated ones) and try to migrate them?

Hi Chris - I am in the process of trying to migrate a PHPbb forum over to a Kunena forum and it appears you have been successful with that? If you could send me some info on where you got the instructions on how to do that, or can advise me, it would be really appreciated!

Thanks.
