This was posted in another ticket but think it best be handled separately. Firstly, thank you for your assistance in past issues.
We would like to create subcategories of a main category that can only be viewed by certain user groups. Sub category 1 can be seen by group a. Subcategory 2 can be seen by group b, etc.

What we noticed is that is a person from Group A, who upon logging in, can only see their sub category, Sub1. Once they enter that category, the bread crumb menu shows all the Sub categories in the Main Category. THey cannot access the content, but they can see the Avatars and the fact that there is a category. I can use CSS to hide this, but wondered if there was a way to not have the breadcrumbs show the categories that Group A (for example) does not have permission to see?

The next thing I noticed that although they cannot post to the other sub categories, they can subscribe to it. WE like the subscription option, but only where permitted. They should not be able to subscribe to a subcategory they should not have permissions to.

Main category(container)
-Sub1 (Only user group A can see and post)
-Sub2 (Only user group B can see and post)
-Sub3 (Only user group C can see and post)

Thank you.
Hi there,

I have replicated this on my local and it should not shown when view single category item. I have issued this to our developer and this will be included on our next release version. Thanks for your understanding
