Hi, I saw Google is asking for developers to start using new generation images to make websites faster (JPEG 2000, JPEG XR, and WebP), you can check the Google post here.

The thing is that Im trying to upload webp images using Easy Blog Composer and it doesn't work, it looks like it's not supporting that format. Or maybe there's a setting I missed in order to use those formats?
I tried to add the extension under Settings > Media > Allowed Extensions, but i didn't work.

Any idea?

Thanks

Hi there,

I have logged this issues internally and we will see if we can implement them on our future release version. Thanks for your understanding.
