Users unable to edit posts containing a url

As the title says users are unable to edit posts that contain URL's, all other posts have editing options, I have done various tests to see how this happens and it seems there are no combinations that cause this other than the post simply containing a URL.

I have searched the forum and looked through setting for the user groups and found no solution.

I am really sorry that delay of this reply,

Unfortunately that was not possible to edit the link stream yet, but that was possible when you set back `post update`[pen icon tab], so the stream consider is update stream, user can able to edit the stream.
