I'm new to EB. I want the users to register, but they can NOT BLOG, until obtaining an admin permission to be able to blog.
Is this done through EB or through Joomla??

If through EB, how it is done.
Hello Angel,

If the user registered and he is in Usergroup Registered, you can turn off this permission: http://screencast.com/t/EfzInoHk2ic for that particular usergroup (Registered) in Backend>Easyblog>ACL. So that any user in that usergroup won't be able to write a blog.

Thanks for your reply. Since no one answered, I investigated and Joomla has the perfect tool.
On the Users Configuration, you select Allow User Registration Yes, combined with New User Account Activation = Admin, and the activation has to be done by an administrator. This is because it is a closed group and we want to determine how enters.

If someone has this circumstances, that is what they have to do.

The image shows the selection. Thanks for your reply.
