Hi Mark,

I have one first idea/thoughts to improve the interaction with a smarter email/sms notification to a site ES 2.1 user groups and its customized profiles and including settings for these custom fields too.

A workflow where certain user group(s) are allowed to add an extra element to send out notification for there created page, event or group.

Step 1 is to be allowed to send out notification email and step 2 is the site admin approve and then send out email regarding to batch condition etc by ACYMailing system so you not have spam problem etc.

Idea

1. Let users that belong to certain Joomla user group(s) create event on ES front end that could be send out as a notification invitation also with integration/control with ACY Mailing/SMS.

It would work like a member could create events (groups, pages) and have a certain setting with a checkbox "Add this to email notification approved by administrator" and then some other fields open pop ups dynamically to which user group(s), users and or custom fields that this email should be sent out to.

You can dl and see these nice design settings similar for selecting 3 states Ignore (default) Include Exclude like Advance Module Manager from Regular Labs Peter. Advance Module settngs and design He have done this working very well to select these extra options for modules and more. Hope you know about it and how powerful it really is.

Other settings to copy there.
Matching Method Should all or any assignments be matched?
ALL
Will be published if ALL of below assignments are matched.
ANY
Will be published if ANY (one or more) of below assignments are matched.
Assignment groups where 'Ignore' is selected will be ignored.

Users
User Group Levels Select the user groups to assign to.
User IDs Enter the user ids to assign to. Use commas to separate ids.

add similar selection for selecting ES customized profile fields to be included or not for selecting user base for this event, pages. groups.

2. When a user have created one Event ( pages, groups) with a heading and text content the content data is imported with user to ACY mailing where ES have created a list-->ES Event list for group(s) etc and also an email template for that event with the right headings and content. The admin of the site approve this event emailing/sms updating and send the email with batches settings for the event by ACY mailing.

Then it would be nice if you by Joomla ACL could create so that user that sent out his notification himself could get a personalized ES/ACYmailing dashboard set up where he could follow his email "campaign" but this I think must be more difficult to implement. Maybe map this to future subscription component too for different rights for different user(s) user group(s) to get the right to use this feature etc

So what you think?
Marketing tools would be welcome !

If we go further, it would be great to integrate the Marketing Automation into EasySocial.

To understand what it is, here is an example with Airbnb :
https://www.sendinblue.com/blog/email-marketing-case-study-airbnb-vs-homeaway/

A first example, send a welcome email just after the user has validated his account.
In order to propose him things to do to start :
- share his first photos
- make requests from friends
- join Groups, etc.
