Users should be able to edit their Username in Edit Profile page here: http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-01-08_1511.png

You have to enable this in the custom fields options under Profile Types. By default ES does not allow users to edit their usernames unless it's enabled by the administrators. This is actually a recent addition which many of us are grateful for.

Now the next thing. How can easysocial display the users real name and not there username? Currently the users email show by default if you don't fill in the Username option, but they can edit it and change it. But here is the challenge. If I have two John Smith's and both want to show the Username instead of there email, then only one John Smith will be available.
