Hello everyone.

Where is the option that enables to user (access rules: registered) to see and modify the own profile (link Settings from User Welcome Module)?

Many thanks.

Best regards.
hey Andrea,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

What I mean is check from backend > Menus > select which menu you created Easyblog menu item > find this 2 menu item alias - `profilo-utente` or `pannello-di-controllo-super` (e.g. you can take a look of my screenshot below).

If the access set to other instead of public, then try set to public and see how it goes?

Hello Arlex.

I'm trying to explain better.

I have the Welcome module on my site, in sidebar-a ( you can see it on http://www.kiritaki.it).

When a user is logged, he cannot see the content of the Settings links due to permission problem.

The permission of the user, in Joomla, is "Author".

See the screenshots.

Many thanks.

Best regards.

Thanks for getting back to us quickly,

I've tried to login in your Joomla backend but it seems like keep redirected to http://www.yourSiteDomain.it/administrator/index.php

Please advise.

If you can access your Joomla backend, can you provide us some of the screenshot as I listed below?
#1. Your current site user account "Andrea Gianello" joined which Joomla user group
#2. Which `Access` you set in Welcome module.

Hmm ya that was strange, I believe I do not have block any connection because I can login in your frontend, can you consult with your webhosting provider regarding this? This is my current IP address : 60.53.241.134 , perhaps you can temporary add my Ip address into your server white list.

Just now I tried to use as you provided that `easyblog` user account, it can open user edit profile page, may i know what is this error mean ? (screenshot : http://screencast.com/t/6NseZp51eQV )

Unfortunately the assistance of my webhosting isn't good like your assistance and I don't know when they will reply.

Anyway, the problem in frontend is shown in your image. I don't understand because the users logged cannot see their settings.

Without enter in the backend, can you give me any suggestion to solve it?

Many thanks.

Best regards.

I didn't understood.

Anyway, I just noticed that (with the same user) I can enter in "Edit profile" page from menu item, but I cannot enter in "Edit profile" from Welcome module.

I remembered that everything run before the case shown in the screenshot. Can it influences something?

I don't know what I can do.
