I need that my user registration donĀ“t need idiligence many too fields. How I configure the system to reduce fields in form registration for my user?

Thanks.
Hello Juan,

You can remove some of the fields by editing your default profile in backend>Easysocial>Profile>Custom fields: http://screencast.com/t/cV67znp9E . Hope this helps.

Nik, we are using LDAP to generate our user accounts, so we would love to be able to remove the username, password, and email fields. Any chance this will be possible in the future?

Hi,

I'm sorry but due to Joomla's behavior, it is not possible to remove some core fields.

Yes, I would expect that Joomla would require those fields to exist. I'm just saying I would like for them to not display as fields that the user can edit in easysocial.

Hi,

You can hide them by going to backed -> EasySocial -> Profiles -> Select Profiles -> Custom Fields -> Click on the field to load the configuration -> Go to the view tab -> Set view in edit to no.

Brilliant! Thank you, Jason. I wasn't doing the "click on the field" part, so the only options I thought I had were "move to page" or "delete" (which wouldn't let me save). Much appreciated!
