Hi,

users are unable to view there own photos or videos in there profile if they have not got photos / videos enabled in menuaccess. There was a code change done previously a year ago for me that corrected this but the latest update has removed that now.

Please can you advise how to correct this so the user can always view their photos and videos.

ok ive found the old code and copied it across.

I am really sorry for the delayed response.

I've checked your site and found that you have created menu access for community-type menus and other menus also. Can you tell me if the video and photos will not restrict under the profile page even if the menu access app is created for the community menu (video and audio menu not selected) ?

Can you tell us the correct steps to replicate the same so I'll assist you better?
Also, do you have a backup of the changes you have done previously, so can reapply back to site.

if you login and you try access albums / videos within your own profile you cannot if photos and vidoes are not enabled for your user type (payplans -> apps -> menuaccess).

Basically when you edited the code last time, you made it so that when checking albums / vidoes / audio that the script excluded any checking of the users own albums / vidoes / audio.

these changes were made in the menuaccess.php file if I remember correctly.

You are most welcome. Glad to hear that your issue has been resolved now.

Jfi, if your site got custom code, always backup the changes first before upgrade, so after upgrade you will be able to reapply again as changes will be lost on upgrade.
