Hi

We use ES for a school.
We have basically 2 users profiles: Teachers ( "Personnel" ) and Students ( "Elèves" ).
Users from "Personnel" have access to every ES menus, but users from "Elèves" have access to nothing but the ES homepage ( error code: "You are not authorized to access to this resource" ).

We don't know how this happened, and how to allow them to access Pages, Groups, etc.

Thank for the help you could provide.
Hello Mizael,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is actually a public day off for us here. Can you edit your profile type and ensure that the option "Allow community access" is enabled as shown in my screen shot here, https://take.ms/6GVUR

Hi Mark, and thanks for your response.
The issue is not coming from this parameter, as the "Allow Community Access" is ON for the profile "Elèves".

It seems like you provided that login credentials no longer work, this is what I hitting now :

Warning
Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.

That error message is coming from Joomla so I suspect you have create menu item for Easysocial Pages, Groups and etc, can you check these menu item access what you have set it to right now ?

And you have to ensure that you have configure the right Joomla user group whoever under this profile type "Elèves".

I will continue to check further once I have your login access later.

Hi Arlex

Thank you very much for your response, you were right. It came from a Joomla menu (for the ES dashboard) that was not accessible to "Elèves".
Sorry for the problem with the login credentials.

Regards
