When setting the categories that a user can post to, EasyArticles always loses the setting after you press submit and reverts to previous permissions setting. This bug is an old one that was never fixed.
Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

May i know which category setting section are you referring to?

Is it can update your site backend and FTP access at https://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can better have a check?

I have 2 content categories: “Site Content” and “Blog”
I have site users that are assigned to the user group: “Editor”
I want members of the “Editor” user group to create articles in the “Blog” category only.

Per instructions:
I logged in to frontend as super admin
Clicked on Dashboard
Clicked on Categories -> Select the “Blog” category
Clicked Posting Permission
Changed the permissions to allow a member of the “Editor” user group to create new articles in the “Blog” category.
Pressed “Submit”
When I go back to check, the permissions have reverted.

This issue has already been documented Titlehere and it was supposed to be fixed by now.

I will log this issue into our issue tracker, for now you can adjust the category permission from backend > Content > Categories first.
