Hi Guys

i have 1 user (maybe more) who can't view their own profile, they just get a 400 - Error:400

all the other users I've checked work fine but this 1 account doesn't.
I've looked everywhere to see any differences with this account but can't find anything.

I've had this in the past and fixed it by changing their profile type. that has not worked this time.

I've supplied her username and password for you to check... on the main menu you'll see an option called "My Profile"

please advise

thanks
Wayne
Hey Wayne,

It seems like this error is caused by an older version of EasyBlog installed on the site. I have updated it to the latest version, 5.0.19 and it all works fine now

You could actually save your access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site and it will be used throughout the forums

hey Wayne,

I am sorry that delay of this reply,

I've checked in your site, I noticed 1 of the different thing is when you click on `My Profile` link, that user which work fine will get this URL http://yoursiteDomain.com/home/?jid=300 , but another user access `My Profile` link, it will get http://yoursiteDomain.com/home without the ?jid=userid .

May i know do you have install any extension or plugins, it will auto add this ?jid=userid URL on behind of the link?

By the way, can I have your FTP access so we can troubleshoot on this?

Hi Arlex

the extra parameter (?jid=userid) has nothing to do with this error, all 75+ users are ok except the one i mentioned and provided username details for.

have you not had other customers mention corrupt or invalid user account?

Hey Wayne,

I believe the Joomla template is actually "masking" the real error message but I actually need the back end and FTP access to check this out

ok, i'll provide the details again but i always have the ?jid=userid on my url's.

they were there before i starting using your products, they have been on several templates and never caused any problem.

i am 101% certain this isn't the reason 1 of 85 users can't view their profile. (if i was guessing i'd say it's more to do with the profile types)

also it would be great if you could save the login credentials against my profile, it's a pain supplying all the details each and every time (thats just a wish)
