EDIT: I have previously compared the issue with EasyDiscuss's app, which is not what you reported here.

For EasySocial cluster discussion, I believe it is alright for comments to be enabled on the stream items because non-members can also comment(for public clusters).

If you only allow the discussion to take place in the discussion itself, non members cannot reply without being a member first.

Hello. In fact this "Comment" button still confuse people.
1) Users post comment.
2) after few days user navigate to discussion
Result: User can't find his comment (because it's not discussion reply). User think that his comment was deleted.

Also, stream doesn't display full reply's text. So, user don't know exaxtly what he is commenting.

I suggest to disable commenting EasySocail Discussion's reply.

Hey Dmitry,

You can post this in EasySocial's feature request category so other users can give their opinion on this as well.

But if you want a workaround, you can always add some text there(through template override) to let your users know that comments will not appear in the discussion.
