Hi,

I have EasySocial and EasyBlog installed. ES is not open for guest, EB is open for guests to read blogs and comment.

When a user log on EasySocial and then goes to EasyBlog, the user is not authenticated on the front page, but in all other pages the toolbar changes and user is able to create new posts etc.

How can I get the toolbar to recognize the user as a logged-on user?
Hey there,

When you are logged in either via EasySocial / EasyBlog, you are actually logging into Joomla and as long as you are logged in, the toolbar will be updated accordingly. I have tested this on your site and it does seem to work fine.

This is what I did,

1. Login via EasySocial at http://myshutterlife.com/index.php/login

2. Clicked on the "Blog" menu at the top, I am still seeing the correct buttons on the toolbar of EasyBlog. Take a look at my screen shot, http://screencast.com/t/Nx0nd8LXoGr

Bugger... Might this have something to do with caching or temp-files?

Anyway. I'm glad it works as intended. Thank you for swift service and help! And I might add that your products are first class. I'm a very happy customer!

You are most welcome, yeah perhaps this could be due to your browser's cache? But I don't think it is related to cache because browser's doesn't cache html codes
