Hello,

For the thumbnail images of post associated with an article, I think it would be better to use the image thumbnail rather than the original image.
See in attachment.

Thank you
Philippe
Thanks for reported, try download my attached file and replace into JoomlaFolder/components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/composer/posts/default.php, it should populate the correct thumbnail photo size.

But you have to edit your existing post again because those blog data already stored in database.

Hm, not really sure if I understand you here Philippe. What do you mean by image thumbnail rather than the original image eh? Do you mean the image source?

From the looks of the code, it is already fetching the thumbnail version, http://take.ms/oJIc0 or am I not understanding your question correctly?

Sorry if I misspoke.

Currently the url of the thumbnail image of one of the related post in screenshot is :
http://easyblog.stackideas.com/images/easyblog_articles/125/photo-1487058792275-0ad4aaf24ca_20170511-053933_1.jpeg

While it should be :
http://easyblog.stackideas.com/images/easyblog_articles/125/b2ap3_thumbnail_photo-1487058792275-0ad4aaf24ca_20170511-053933_1.jpeg

The difference is : b2ap3_thumbnail_

Hey Philippe,

The related posts should already been rendering thumbnails instead of full sized images judging from the codes. If it isn't doing that, then it's certainly a bug. I can't replicate this locally because on my local instance, it is using the thumbnail as you can see here, http://take.ms/RcMxz

Perhaps if you could provide us with the back end and FTP access to the site, I will check on your site.

Hi Mark

We are not talking about the same place.
The problem is directly on an EasyBlog article.

At the level of related posts that I have added manually from the composer.

The source of the images are not the thumbnails.

Here's the link to the article : http://easyblog.stackideas.com/let-robots-handle-your-emotional-burnout-at-work
If the demo has been reset, just add one or two related posts by editing the article from the composer.

This is the thumbnail that is displayed now.

The fix will be in the next update I suppose.

Thank you Arlex.

You are most welcome. Glad to hear that your issue has been resolved now.

This fix will included in next release version as well.

As a gentle reminder, kindly start a new thread if you have any other issue in the future so it will be easier for us to manage your inquiry. I will lock and mark this thread as resolved.
