Hi,

I'd like to use JCE as the Komento editor.

How do I do this?

TIA - Jeff.
Hello Jeff,

I am really sorry but unfortunately that is not possible right now and I would strongly suggest that you do not use a WYSIWYG editor for your commenting system because most WYSIWYG editor relies heavily on the scripts and it's going to add a lot of loading time on the page and unfortunately Google does pay attention to the page load time when ranking sites.

Thanks.

Just an afterthought here...

It's not so much that I want users to be able to use JCE to make their comments on the front end.

It's more that I'd like to be able to edit user comments on the back end, using code mirror or something like that.

So, I guess my real question here is whether there is some way to edit Komento comments on the back end, using a straight html editor.

TIA - Jeff.

Hello Jeff,

I am sorry for the late reply.
Regarding your inquiry, "whether there is some way to edit Komento comments on the back end, using a straight html editor", currently I believe we didn't have this feature yet as my colleague mention before. However, I will forward this request to our development team to be discuss and you also can voice this feature out at here, http://stackideas.com/voices/komento .

Thanks.
