Hi
I wonder whether I could use ES as a way to log into the whole website rather than just the ES section?
What I mean, is there a way to have a new visitor see only so much of the website and only be able to view the entire content once they have logged into ES?

Thanks

Vlad
Anything you set to be seen by 'registered' only will be viewable to people who logged in only. So you can select any menu item to be accessible by registered only in your joomla backend menu options.

Thanks, that I realise, but I wonder what would be the best menu item or module of ES to use at say front page to lock the ones I want to be used by registered users.
Thanks

You can not have a module only at a menu link. So the question is, what components do you run on your site and which ones you want to have for registered only and which one you want public. It does not matter if you got EasySocial or Joomla Core only. The registration and also the login work the same way.

Hey Vlad,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply,

What I recommended is you can create `Easysocial dashboard` menu item and set this as default homepage, then set access "registered" in which menu item you do not want your public user viewable.

So that your site user have to login first only can access your site other menu item.

By the way, thanks for sharing of your experience Sabih
