Hi,

ES &ED integrations. 'Use EasySocial Edit Profile Link' is set to disable but in ED it seems still enable.
Is there any other settings to configure?
See attached file.

We tested this on localhost with fresh install of;

Joomla! 3.10.2
ES Latest version: v4.0.6
Office v3.0.8
Mobile Web Template v2.3.11
Converskit v2.0.7

No other extensions or plugin.

Thanks.
Hey there,

You need to change this setting to 'EasySocial' as well as shown in the screenshot. https://monosnap.com/file/XIWOn77tjLSej2YD9D0c9SNCWIVNni

Oops sorry my mistake, it should be the 'Use Profile Linking' setting which is needed to be enabled. Can you try to enable and try again?

If we enable Use Profile Linking, we lose access to ED user page.
See attached file.

Currently, the Use Profile Linking setting is responsible for determining where the user's avatar and the user's name will be linked to based on what you set at 'Profile Picture Integrations' setting.

I see, thanks Irwin.

Can we hide the link?
Which file and line to hide the Edit Profile link from ED?

Thanks

Hey there,

You will need to template override this path first which is JoomlaFolder/components/com_easydiscuss/themes/wireframe/toolbar/default.php and its template override path will be JoomlaFolder/templates/yourCurrentTemplate/html/com_easydiscuss/toolbar/default.php.

After that, remove it at line 320 - 326 and 541 - 545 at the default.php file which is at its template override location.

Line of code is correct at core path but not at template override.
I'm using Office template. It has already override default.php

If that's the case, it would be line 178 - 182.
