I went deeper into the program and find the detailes of Countries and there the REGIONS, I would like to create groups in category International - Hungary - Budapest. Similar in the other countries. These would be subcategories?. I donot find the logic - because I cannot use it in groupe-creation.
A 2nd question is: a group asked for changing the category they fall in: they created the group in category A, admin created a new category B, and they feel it suits their place better in this. here I donot find a possibility in ES. Pls. tell where I can read for solutions
Peter
Groups are not associated with locations. They are associated with categories

Regions are totally unrelated to categories. They are basically a "source" for the country / address field

As for switching category for groups, you can actually do this from the back end of EasySocial under the "Groups" page Currently the front end doesn't have the ability for users to switch category (due to the complexity of the acl, we do plan to add this in the future)

Mark thank you for your quick reply, I asked you therefore because it may be there is a chance to program something like a "subcategory" - as I donot understand that "source" for the country / address field". In that moment I read through the documentation.
