Hi. we use office365 which generates sharing links like this:
https://mpaconnects.sharepoint.com/staffonly/_layouts/15/guestaccess.aspx?guestaccesstoken=UUUpXqFTTXQ%2fbTmlV604d0Bw9hVSoMRDQ%2fpiF7%2b97WE%3d&docid=17bfad7fe3f534d7793686f04a1ad2d07&rev=1
but when these are put into ES, it adds 'amp' after the & symbols which makes it not work. How can this be controlled? thanks
in the link i pasted above, your system has truncated it and added a ; after what it thinks is the link. the general point seems to be that & symbols in links are confusing for it. Have attached a doc with the specific issue detailed with example links.

more specifically, this happens: when the URL is pasted in it reports it as being an 'error' but when saved the link will often work. it seems to be ok if it is specifically added as a link but not if it is just pasted in as a status update. so in the attached snip, the bold URL in the red box works but the one above doesn't as it has the added 'amp' in the actual address (although not in the displayed text).
The workaround is quite simple therefore: use the Link option but it would be nice if it didn't need to be specific and people could just paste those links in the status update box. i have also added a snip of the error issue.

Hi Joshua Carritt-Baker,

Regarding your issue, I've added a fix internally and the same fix will be added into next release of EasySocial.

For the quick fix, can you download the attached 'UrlFilter.php' and copy the file to folder 'JOOMLA/administrator/components/com_easysocial/includes/bbcode/adapters/decoda/library/filters/' and overwrite the existing UrlFilter.php file.

Let me know if the fix address your issue or not.

Hope this help and have a nice day!
