Hello,

(I've replaced real user/post details with caps)

A user created a Blog Post. In the Jomsocial stream it shows:
USER created new blog post BLOG TITLE in Blogs

The issue is that the links for the Title and the Category are like this:
http://www.MYSITE.com/blogs/your-blog-dashboard/categories/listings/blogs

So because your-blog-dashboard is in the links it requires the person
to login. This is not right. I want people to freely be able to browse
and this nags them to login.

Can you tell me how to fix this? It is also showing up on emailed notifications,
the yellow buttons, [ View post >> ] and [ View Comment >> ]. I would imagine
it shows up everywhere. How do I get rid of the your-blog-dashboart part
of these links so it doesn't go directly to a login screen?
==============
2nd Question: In Joomla, if you have to login, how do I get the login page
to continue to the original requested screen after the person completes
their login? Mine doesn't. Is it a special login module? Anything I can do here?

Thanks so much for your help. I need to make this as user friendly as possible.

Hello Warren,

How is the current SEO settings in EasyBlog configured to? Depending on your setup, in most cases you may need to set the menu id explicitly under EasyBlog > Settings > SEO > Advanced Settings and select "Use Menu Itemid ". Then, enter your EasyBlog's menu id (This menu should be one accessible by public).

If you are using the stock Joomla login module, it should automagically redirect you back to the page where you came from when you try to login. Perhaps you want to try to configure the login module to "Default" for the login redirection settings.

Hello,

Thanks for the quick response! That fixed it, new URLS are correct and I went in the database to fix the Jomsocial activities to the past URLs were right.

Still struggling with the login question, but I'll play with it this weekend.

I added a comment to a blog post when I was not logged in. It took the default female png avatar from Jomsocial? Do you know why? Can I set the default avatar on anonymous posters to be a specific image?

Thanks,

Hello Warren,

When you configure EasyBlog to use avatars from JomSocial, the system automatically picks up the default avatar from JomSocial. As to why it's displaying female avatars I am not really sure about this because what we do is just call the API from JomSocial to render the avatar.

Is there some plugins or hacks that was added into JomSocial that determines if it should render male / female avatar
