For the links to register, login or userprofiles the URLs that EasyDiscuss generates are

Register - http://www.domain.org/component/comprofiler/registers
Login - http://www.domain.org/component/comprofiler/login
Userprofiles - http://www.domain.org/component/comprofiler/userprofile/Oceanminded

But our menu structure for Community Builder and the correct links are

Register - http://www.domain.org/cb-registration
Login - http://www.domain.org/cb-login
Userprofiles - http://www.domain.org/cb-profile/username

How can these URLs be generated to be correct?

We are using default Joomla SEF with Flatt theme

Best regards

Hello CV,

Please replace the attached file in: ../components/com_easydiscuss/themes/simplistic/post.reply.form.php. This will disable the whole login form in the post page. Hope this helps.

Hello Christian,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Hm, is there any specific "api" that CB uses to generate their urls?

I ran into a similar issue with Jreviews and the developer said it had to do with the extension not having menu discovery for compatibility with CB 2. They provided me with a file for a model that corrected the problem

Here is what they said

Attached the CB model which should fix the problem on your version

/components/com_jreviews/jreviews/models/community/community_builder.php

I have attached the file they provided. Hopefully it help provide a solution to this issue.

Best regards

Hello Christian,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Hello Christian,

I've tried to access your backend but I got this: Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.

Hello Christian,

I've checked your JReviews URL and seems like it is also incorrect. http://screen.stackideas.com/2014-12-18_1548.png . Please advise. However, I've modified your file to use the correct menu alias.

Thanks Nik. I will look into the jreviews issue. Initially I had noticed the issue with the cb-profile URL being incorrect for Jreviews and cannot remember about the login/register URLs

For easydiscuss the register URL now is correct but the Login form for example on http://www.orthogate.org/community/help does not actually work. It just redirected to a default login form http://www.orthogate.org/component/comprofiler/login still.
Can this be fixed as well?

Hello Christian,

I'm sorry but we cannot fix it. Because our code is calling this URL: domain.org/index.php?option=com_users&task=user.login to let the user login. Here means, we are using com_users login function. However, you site has redirected it to http://domain.org/component/comprofiler/login . You can test by access the given URL: domain.org/index.php?option=com_users&task=user.login .

OK thanks Nick

Where would I go to remove the Login/Register form from the pages? If I can just comment them out somewhere that would be a next best solution for now
