Hi, just purchased and installed (via joomla extension system) URL Shortner App on ES 2.0.10 but - after having enabled the plugin - I got all user's profile dead links.
Any suggestion?

Problem solved by enabling (on apache2 config file) the AllowOverride ->All .
Restarted apache2 and followed your suggestions solved the issue .
This plugin requires mod_rewrite to be activated and when checking your site, it looks like mod_rewrite has been disabled. To enable mod_rewrite, you will need to:
1. Go to Joomla's Global Configuration > SEO Settings > Use URL Rewriting
2. Rename the htaccess.txt to .htaccess on your Joomla document root
Just checked your site and it looks like as long Rewrite URL is enabled in Joomla, any page on the sites generates a not found page. It looks like either:
1. Your apache doesn't have mod_rewrite
or
2. Your apache isn't configured to allow changes made in .htaccess file. Ensure that apache is configured to allow overrides from .htaccess
Well, I use the apache rewrite directive to redirect traffic from http to https.
Have to investigate on the .htaccess apache override config.
