I downloaded the APP yesterday and it does not work for me. Please help me to investigate.

Regarding your url shortener, may i know what is not working? I tested on your site and all the links from user profile seem working correct. Can you tell me which page is not working or you can capture a screenshot and show us the issue you encountered.

I had 7 profile types enabled but only 4 are presented during reistration.

Regarding the above, I've added a fix on your test site and now all your published profile types are shown during registration page. Below is the file I've modified.

JOOMLA/components/com_easysocial/views/registration/view.html.php

The same fix for above issue will be addd into next release of EasySocial 2.0.x

The shortened url should give http://www.sitename.com/username but it does not. It still gives sitename.com/167-username . Just mouseover my users.

This is actually the correct behaviour where, this plugin shortened the profile urls by eliminating the need of the home menu item.

Anyway, we will see if we can include a setting into this plugin so that admin can choose if they want to have the id append in the user profile link or not.

(1) It was the behaviour BEFORE i paid for the plugin.
(2) It is not the behaviour shown in your APP directory,. I just checked and the app is not in your app directory. Have you withdrawn it? It was there a few hours ago!

(3) In one of my cloned websites the correct behaviour is shown if you mouseover the user Tommy and Richard. I cloned the website

If your home page menu item is EasySocial, it would be site.com/profile/ID-permalink. With this plugin, you get site.com/ID-permalink

It is still there under the "Featured" section at the top as we have updated the app store layout

If you read my responses in the blog post, the ID is needed to prevent the database firing multiple queries to determine the correct username. We will try to add this as an option in the next update of this plugin to allow "id"-less permalinks for people who fancy it over performance.

Hi Mark. What I paid for is clearly not provided by the app, so the right thing is to give me a refund. If in the future I would be interested in an APP that degrades performance is a decision for the future.
