Hello,

I have been updating this blog and the URL's are all over the place. Some have "our-blog", which is the menu item alias, some have "easyblog" in the url, some use the permalink, some use a date. I have one blog where I updated the permalink, but it didn't change. This is very confusing for me. I run a lot of websites and I really like this blog software so far, but I can't put this on my other sites if the URL's are all over the place like this. Can someone look at this and help me understand what I am doing wrong?
Hi Ed,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check your menu structure and url format to the entry view?

You can add the information needed by edit your first post in the Details section or you can just include your site's access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site rather than needing to keep adding them in your replies

I have figured it out, for some reason Sh404SEf is storing the original URL's and then when I change them in easy blog, it adds an alias to it. It's kind of frustrating as I'm updating the permalinks and fixing up the blogs so I may have to turn off sh404sef while I do this.

Hey Ed,

Thanks for updating us on this. Hm, I am not entirely sure why is SH404 still using "easyblog" in their permalinks. It should automatically be using the alias that is used in the menu. Do you mean that it standardized to use "easyblog" as the permalinks?

Yes, somehow it is inserting easyblog in all new blog posts in place of the menu alias. I have "our-blog" as the menu alias and instead it will replace that with "easyblog".
