Hello, I am getting a 500 error when I try to activate URL Rewriting. I am using Joomla 3.6.5. Is it possible for Easy Blog to operate in URL Rewriting mode? Please advise
I suspect you didn't activate your htaccess.txt to .htaccess from your root folder.

You can refer on this documentation : http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/joomla-3/seo-settings/remove-index-php

By the way, your FTP do not have allow us to access your Joomla root folder, you can check my attached screenshot below.

Hello Arlex, I have rewritten the httaccess file already from htaccess.txt to .htaccess. The Url Rewriting was working just fine until I installed Easy Blog. It's only the easy blog pages that have this error not the entire site. Please let me know how to resend the FTP login info. I am not sure if these posts are visible by the public or not.

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

You can edit your first post and enter your latest FTP info. These site details only our moderator can view it.

Hello,

I updated the ticket yesterday. I guess I should have replied to let you know. You should now have all the access you need to get into the site including root access to the site folder. I also made a comment that I want to make sure you get. I said before that I was getting a 500 error. That was a mistake. I't actually a 404 error that I'm getting when URL rewriting is turned on. As stated before, this only happens with Easyblog pages. URL rewrite was working just fine before I installed Easyblog. Thanks!

Ryan

Thanks for getting back to us, I've checked in your site, it seems like your Joomla article page also having the same issue, I suspect your .htacess file is not configure correct, can you re-check again with your FTP details? Because I was unable to connect your FTP server, it seems like that password is not correct.
