URL problem when searching for users

Hi EasySocial Team!

When using the search bar in EasySocial v.1.2.8 I am having a problem with URLs for users that I click on. Here's an example:

After clicking on a user from the search bar I am sent to this URL:
http://mysite.com/index.php/en/connect/profile/819-username-1/en/component/easysocial/
this redirects me back to my dashboard

This is the correct URL (without the additional en/component/easysocial/):
http://mysite.com/index.php/en/connect/profile/819-username-1/

Is anyone else having this problem? Could it be a factor of some setting I'm using?

Hello David,

Hm, this is odd. Can you try purging the indexer in the Smart Search and try to reindex it again?

Hello David,

Access the back end of your Joomla site, then click on Extensions > Smart Search (This is an extension that comes with Joomla by default). Then, click on the "Purge" button on the toolbar

Hi again Mark,

This problem keeps popping up. It seems to have something to do with language settings. When a user signs up with one language and I search them from another language it seems to create a messed up URL. I have purged smart search a few times and I will do it again but it keeps creeping back in.

Hello David,

Any idea how to reproduce this issue? I have a feeling that Joomla might not be caching the url correctly. Also does this only happen to user searches? Does it happen on normal Joomla articles too?
