Hello,

Why is the word easysocial included in the url of the composer, when the article is written from a Group, a Page or an Event ?
source_type=easysocial.group
source_type=easysocial.page
source_type=easysocial.event

Would not it be enough to use the following structure ?
source_type=group
source_type=page
source_type=event

Thank you,
Philippe
Hi Philippe,

The term is actually used to identify that the blog post is being created from EasySocial's clusters. Without the right term, the composer would not be able to load with the respective cluster as the default author: https://www.screencast.com/t/3hJXG1xPZ

Thank you for your response Raymond.

Yes, but for a future release, could you not remove this easysocial term from these urls ?
And of course by updating the existing sql tables with the new term, to be always able to load the respective cluster as the default author.

Because for security reasons, it is better not to reveal as clearly the software used.

Thank you,
Philippe

Hey Philippe,

You provide a valid point. However, we will not be able to implement this just yet due to the amount of changes and considerations we have to do as this may affect various elements in the component.

Furthermore, since we have bigger priorities currently, we will hold off on this idea for now.

We appreciate your kind understanding on this.
