I am messing around with SEF settings for my site I came across some issues.

The Simple and Simple Category do not have /view/ in them but the rest do.

This now brings me to the Custom option. I was trying to replicate the Wordpress SEF ie quantumwarp.com/2018/06/this-is-my-article but because the Custom option has /view/ and there fore adds entry.

Is it possible to make the Custom option without the /view/ so it is truly custom.

Thanks
Unfortunately it's not possible to remove the /entry/ (view) portion of if you are using custom dates in the URL.

There need's to be a point where we need to determine which is the correct view for the entry.

The only thing i can think of is use Sh404sef extension, so it will not show the 'view' in that post URL.

I think you misunderstood my question.

  1. Why do all of the different URLs apart from 2 have /view/ in them.
  2. So why cannot you not remove /view/ from th custom one, it seems a bit stupid.
  3. ie have a new option called Simple Custom http://yoursite/menu/....../title

Doing this allows you to have wordpress style slugs/URLs
