URL Format For Entry View issue

Hey guys,

We just noticed that after the last update (5.2.4) that the settings under Settings > SEO > Permalink > URL Format For Entry View didn't remain as we had set them in most cases. In most cases after the update, this changed to the default setting of http://yoursite.com/menu/view/title

This is obviously not ideal, since we'd like these settings to remain as we set them even after a major update.

Any idea how this happened, or if this is how the settings should transfer between updates?

That setting should not change after updating.

May I know from which version did you performed the update to 5.2.4 and experienced the 'setting switched' issue?

Hi Raymond,

In most cases we were upgrading from 5.1.15 to 5.2.4. This issue didn't seem to occur every time, but it did occur most times we updated.

Hey Chris,

I am not able to replicate this in my local instance after updating from 5.1.15. May I know what was the previous setting that you used?

When we do a fresh install, actually the default value for this setting is 'simple': http://take.ms/cNUZg

Perhaps you can provide me a test site to test this.
