Hi,

I have just upgraded to 5.26 of EasyBlog to address an issue with the Latest Blogs module.

I use the Latest Blogs module for my Home page and now its displaying all the blog article (rather than a set number of characters as set in Post attributes) and looks awful on my page, with some very long articles displaying.

Its also adding double images in new feeds (see Industry News further down our home page).

Update: I have had to turn off displaying intro text until there is a fix as it is a live site.

Is there a quick fix for this?

Mel
Can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can better have a look?

Hi Arlex I have re-activated it. If you set the Industry News on front page to display intro text you will see what i mean

I've tried to connect with your FTP server, but it seems like you provided that login credentials is not correct.

Can you try download my attached file and replace into JoomlaFolder\administrator\components\com_easyblog\includes\modules\modules.php and see how it goes?

i Arlex,

thanks for that, it now displays the intro text properly no. However, I have a strange behaviour now with my Industry News Latest Blog module (on home page) in that it breaks on he age. It is the only module that does. I can only get it to work by selecting Strip HMTL code in the module, but that then no longer displays the Intro text (see home page). If i set Strip HTML to no, it breaks again.

I even tried copying the module next to it and changing the categories etc. to recreate the Industry News module but still same issue.

Have you any idea what the problem might be?

hey Mel,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

May i know do you have put any `read more` block in this post content "Hope for faster treatment of urinary infections" ?

By the way, can you assign this user account "stack" to have Superadmin privileges so we can better have a look how the content structure ?

hey Mel,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

I still can't connect with your FTP server, by the way, I already checked in your site, it seems like this post e.g. The extraordinary case of the Guevedoces is actually stored in `main content` because i noticed this post was imported from RSS feed and you set to stored as `Main content`.

Which mean that when you set show `intro content` from the module, it will show empty is because this post do not have any intro text.

Hope this analysis help.
