Hi

I have been trying to upload an image for a profile from the front end and it has been failing. The error message received is:

THE AUTHORIZATION HEADER IS MALFORMED; THE REGION 'US-EAST-1' IS WRONG; EXPECTING 'US-WEST-2'

Are you able to help?

Many thanks
I have switch this option "Amazon S3 Storage path" to US West (Oregon) from backend , it seems like work fine now, can you give it a check?

Hi Arlex

Thanks for your help. Appears to be working when logged in to the front end.

However, when not logged in, when I select the "community" link (this is an EasySocial Account Layout menu item, the page does not open and I get the following error message:

DATETIMEZONE::__CONSTRUCT(): UNKNOWN OR BAD TIMEZONE (10)
OH MY GOSH! YOU FOUND IT!!!
Looks like the page you're trying to visit doesn't exist.
Please check the URL and try your luck again.

So it seems that there is still a problem.

Hoping you can help.

Thanks

Hello Steven,

Thanks for getting back to us on this. This is actually a bug which we found today and it seems to be caused by legacy data but if I recall correctly, your site is actually a brand new installation eh?

Anyway I have applied a fix on the site, can you see if you still hit the same issue again?

HI

Thanks for looking at this. Unfortunately the issue is still occurring.

My install of EasySocial is brand new, but I did migrate it from JomSocial. Not sure if that helps.

Hopefully can be fixed soon.

Thanks

Hello Steven,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Hm, this is odd as I am unable to reproduce this error. I tried to update my profile picture and it seems to be working fine, http://take.ms/2HaOR

Can you provide me with the user account that is hitting these errors?

Hi Mark

I am sorry about the confusion. Arlex actually fixed that problem, but after it being fixed another problem occurred. Because the other problem occurred immediately after the fix Arlex applied, I am assuming that it is linked to whatever was done.

I have described the problem earlier in this thread. The description of the problem is:

When not logged in, when I select the "community" link (this is an EasySocial "Account Layout" menu item), the page does not open and I get the following error message:

DATETIMEZONE::__CONSTRUCT(): UNKNOWN OR BAD TIMEZONE (10)
OH MY GOSH! YOU FOUND IT!!!
Looks like the page you're trying to visit doesn't exist.
Please check the URL and try your luck again.

When I am logged in the front end, the problem doesn't occur, the error only occurrs when not logged in.

So it seems that there is still a problem.

I didn't open it as a new ticket because I think it is linked to the original problem logged.

Hope that is ok.

Regards

Steve

Hello Steve,

Ah okay found the problem, it looks like there is a bug with the discuss app where it is not getting the correct timezone for the site. I have applied some fixes for you on the site and it should work fine now

Tested with being logged out / in and they both work fine.
