To share mp3 file from your EasySocial story form, you will need to add the mp3 extension in your Files app. To do this, go to your EasySocial backend under applications page look for user app 'Files' and in this File app edit page, append the 'mp3' into the 'Allowed Extensions' setting. E.g. http://screencast.com/t/suHADttj55v

Once you've added the mp3 extension, you will be able to upload mp3 file into your story form. Please see http://screencast.com/t/vPmCMHiQS

I have managed to uplaod an mp3 file, but the only way to play it is to download it.

Is there a way to play it in easysocial? Like a media player extension or something?

Currently the files sharing in EasySocial cannot support mp3 media player. When user upload a mp3 file, it will appear as file download instead of media player
