Hi,

I recently bought the Voyager theme to upgrade the current theme that I have installed on my Joomla site. When I go in to install the theme in Joomla within the Easyblog it is not allowing me to uplaod the theme,
Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

The Voyager template is a template is not Easyblog theme, but this Voyager template will automatically show this layout like what you see on our demo page http://voyager.stackideas.com/ .

If it can't show the same layout like what you see on our demo site, perhaps you can update your site backend and FTP access at https://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can better have a check?

Hi Arlex,

Thank you for the clarification between Theme and Template. How do I get the Voyager Template to display inside of my current Theme?

Do you mean you would like to show this voyager template on the Easyblog pages only?

1. You have to create "Easyblog - (Posts) Frontpage" menu item from backend https://take.ms/QW62I .

2. Set this menu template style to Voyager template https://take.ms/bNLXs

3. If your site Joomla using 3.9.3 version, you have to download my attached file and replace into this file location.

JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_menus/models/forms/item.xml

Because that is Joomla known issue, unable to set the template style from the edit menu item page.

Hi,

Voyager is not an option on the drop down menu under template style so I cannot choose it.

Hm that is strange indeed, you can check my screenshot here https://take.ms/AN3VJ .

May i know do you have download the Voyager installer from https://stackideas.com/apps/item/3393-voyager then install it through your site backend installer page?

If yes, but it didn't show up the Voyager template option from the menu template style setting, can you update your site backend and FTP access at https://stackideas.com/dashboard/site so we can better have a check?

hi Arlex,

I have it up and running now. Thank you so much for your help. I am having issues with a few customizations.

1.) How do i change the header bar to remove the Voyager Title and the flower picture?
2.) Can I customize the font for the entire template?
3.) Can I remove or edit the Navigation at the top of the blog? It does not flow well with the rest of my website.
4.) I want to replace the frontpage picture on the left with a text image that I can upload - something like 'welcome to the Fish Fixe Kitchen - see what we are cooking" and I always want that text to display.

1.) How do i change the header bar to remove the Voyager Title and the flower picture?

Voyager Title - You can change to logo image from backend > extension > template > edit voyager default template > upload logo image https://take.ms/yMZp2

Flower picture - it seems like that is Joomla default custom module display under position-3 if I am not wrong, you can disable this module from your site backend > extension > module > filter the type to 'custom' https://www.screencast.com/t/znhFCab6E > need to find which module is display that flower image.

2.) Can I customize the font for the entire template?

Currently we do not have setting for that. but you can add you custom css under this file JoomlaFolder/templates/voyager/assets/css/custom.css

3.) Can I remove or edit the Navigation at the top of the blog? It does not flow well with the rest of my website.

Do you mean that breadcrumb section https://take.ms/hxzcp
If yes, you can disable it from your site backend > extension > module > filter the type to 'breadcrumb' > choose the module and disable it.

4.) I want to replace the frontpage picture on the left with a text image that I can upload - something like 'welcome to the Fish Fixe Kitchen - see what we are cooking" and I always want that text to display.

Is it possible for you provide us some screenshot which part you would like to make the changes?
Because I am not sure which part you would like to modify it, perhaps you can check my screenshot here https://take.ms/JqHai , and see whether you mean the content area should show the text instead of the image right?
