We want to upload short videos directly to the server, can you please help us to configure it? What is needed?
1. You have to request your hosting to help you install FFMpeg v2.8.x library on your server.

2. After they help you installed, you have to ask them what is the FFMpeg binary path, then you have to set this path into your site backend > Easysocial > setting > video > Path to FFMpeg

3. Remove this 'Passthru' PHP function from your PHP server under php.ini file, you can check my attached second screenshot. Because when the user upload video on the site, it required this 'Passthru' PHP function to be enabled.

Hi Alex,
Sorry for this intrusion but i did not want open new thread for the same issue.

Is it possible to make it with FFMpeg v 0.6.5 ? My hosting has this version and it seems to be complicated for them to update it.

Best Regards,
Ibrahima

Hey ibrahima,

Unfortunately that is not possible to make it compatible with FFMpeg older version is because each of the FFMpeg version has different command structure.

If you would like us to assist you to update this, we actually got the service for setup this FFmpeg on the server, you can contact us at helpdesk https://crm.stackideas.com but we need to check first and see whether possible to update FFMpeg to 2.8.x version on your server.
