Hello guys,

I have had this problem since the update from EB3 to EB5...it seems I have a problem with my server connection to the Internet.....I have been in touch with my hosting company and my server admin....but since I am in a rush is it possible to post somewhere the upgrade package from version 5.19 to 5.23 so that I can manually upload the files?...the last two times one of your staff did it and I do not want that...again...

Thanks,
Madalina
Hi Madalina,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

I've helped you with the installation process on your site by manually alter the installation behavior and manually upload the site file into your site and it should be working fine now.

To be honest we are not really sure what is the exact error that you are facing when you are trying to upload the installer through extension manager as the error is generated on the server side instead of joomla side. I've also checked your error_log file from your joomla root folder and there are a lot of error that are related with mgthumbnails plugins and I am not able to see any of the easyblog error message there. Usually this is caused by your max_execution time value is not high enough and your server is hitting timeout during the upload and installation process.

Perhaps you can try to increase max_execution time value to higher value and see if the issue still persist when the new version of easyblog is release. Hope these can help.

Hey Madalina,

I have a little bit lost here, do you mean that when you try upload the launcher installer from your backend Joomla installer, the installation is not work smoothly?

Perhaps you can provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this?

Hello Arlex,

Yes, you got it....I installed the launcher, but it stops at the downloading of files...the last two times the upgrading was done manually by someone in your team...since then I contacted my server provider and they increased the php limit memory and deactivated another app called Suhosin...yesterday when I launched the upgrade from EB 5.19 to 5.23 it stopped...I have enclosed the site details.

Maybe you could provide me with a more technical description of the error so that I can fwd it to the server provider so that they can better understand the issue.

Thank you kindly,
Madalina

Keep up the good job,
Madalina
