However, for audio you can have a choice to use encode/FFMpeg or not by disable the Enable Audio Encoder.

Ah I see. FFmpeg is a library that is required in order for EasySocial to process uploaded videos. When a user uploads a video, they are often very huge and it isn't ideal for embedding them on websites.

FFmpeg is used to compress and also take a screenshot of the first frame to be used for videos as well as extracting metadata from videos.

Here's a quick guide on installing ffmpeg on centos, https://www.vultr.com/docs/how-to-install-ffmpeg-on-centos but it really depends on what operating system the server is currently on. It's best that you check with your hosting company
