The Post installation Cleanup is failing at 45% when trying to upgrade to 5.0.20. Also when I go to my blog page on the front end I am getting this error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 79 bytes) in /home/website/libraries/joomla/database/driver/mysqli.php on line 81

I checked the database and it looks like the table easyblog_acl_group is huge. Not sure how this happened.
hey Aaron,

Can you try this reference link solution and see how it goes?

If the issue still persists, can you provide us with your PHPMYADMIN access as well?

Thank you. That solved the problem.

By the way, I am still having to replace the default.sidebar.js file every time I update Easyblog because the Check for Update on the backend always keeps spinning. It never shows the version.

You're welcome Aaron.

I'm still investigate on this because currently only your site facing this issue, somehow the $view is equal to category when you view on your backend > Easyblog dashboard.

I will keep you update this.
