Hello guys,

I just upgraded to Easysocial 3.1.1 and encountered the following problems:0

(1) 404 Article not found errors when you click to view the user's profile.

(2) Unable to register a new user.
If I remove the number from the profile url then everything is okay. e.g site/199-asama is fine with site/asama.

Hi Abi,

Regarding your issue, can you please upgrade your EasySocial URL shortener plugin as well? From what I've check your site, look like this plugin was outdated. You can re-download the latest version from here. https://stackideas.com/apps/item/3338-url-shortener

Hope this help and have a nice day

Hi Sam I still don't get the registration page after trying different browsers, clearing caches, two different phones, desktop PC. To reproduce, you simply click the register button and you will not see the registration page.

The interesting thing is that a few hours before upgrading, I registered a user with typical ease. But after upgrading I can't.

If I put https:/sitename/component/easysocial/registration?Itemid= then I get the registration page.

If I hover over the registration button I see https:/sitename/component/easysocial/Itemid=

Hi Abi,

Strange, the registration button on your top toolbar did appear correctly me with the below link:
https:/sitename/component/easysocial/registration?Itemid=

Anyway, I've added a registration menu item in your mainmenu and now the registration link should be:
https:/sitename/registration

Can you check again if you are seeing the correct url now? If you are still not seeing the correct registration link, then can you capture a screenshot and let me know which registration button you actually referring to so that I can investigate further.

Please advise.
