Hi

I'm looking to upgrade my version of Easy Blog from 3.9.15770 to the current version but I wondered if you could take a quick look back at the tweaks that you've done for me with this and confirm that they shouldn't be overwritten by the upgrade?

The main ones relate to ticket #42273 created on 3rd July 2015 on Kayako CRM. The other was ticket #236484 on 15th November 2015. All help was very much appreciated but I just need to check that I won't lose these during an Easy Blog upgrade.

I am not entirely sure what issues are you having here. Which module is this that you are referring to that is broken?

Hai Jamie,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

I have try to access you backend admin use old password and username but hitting this error:

Warning
Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet.

Yes, sorry about that. I've re-enabled your login details as per ticket #42273 on the https://crm.stackideas.com and just tested the same ftp details that are on that ticket and this works fine now for me.

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply,

I already took a look of your previous ticket, I believe that was just a small customization, so it would be best if you can setup a test server from your site and temporary try upgrade to Easyblog 5 and see is there anything break, if yes, we can take a look of your after upgrade issue.

Hi

We've now carried out the upgrade on a test site and it has broken a few items. You can compare the two sites to see. My developer tells me that there was a module we used to display news items on the site that came
with EasyBlog 3.9, but doesn't seem to be included in EasyBlog 5. So
all the news items have disappeared on this copy of the site.

Further, he'd modified that module to provide NWR-specific filters for
the news.

Also at the moment we've got a geo block in operation on both sites so I may need you to confirm which country/countries you're accessing the site from so I can unblock it/them.
