I've upgraded about 10 instances from 4 -> 5 so far and every time, the block concept doesn't work (not available in new posts). See attachment.

Is there a fix for this ? Can we upgrade without reinstalling and loosing our history of blogs ?

Thanks
Danny
Hey Danny,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Got 2 possibility there :
#1. Try check is it set to use Easyblog build-in composer by default from backend > Easyblog > Settings > general > composer tab > Composer Editor - Easyblog build-in composer

If yes, you have to take a look of this possibility;
#2. Try check your current logged in user profile editor is it set default from backend > Easyblog > author > edit your user > Editor - default

if above method still doesn't help, can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can better have a look?

By the way, in the future you can just include your site's access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site rather than needing to keep adding them in your replies

Hi Arlex,

Thanks for your response.

I can only review this the next time i upgrade as for the one I am refereeing to here, I had to uninstall, drop the tables and reinstall everything already.

I will update on next upgrade.
