I use position: es-dashboard-sidebar-after-newsfeeds

after upgrade it's not show on the theme elegant(version 1.0.0)

I use menu object : EasySocial » Kontrollpanel » Kontrollpanel
Hi Patrik,

Is this issue happen only to your site visitor (guest who did not logged-in )? If yes, currently in EasySocial 2.0, we no longer show sidebar to guest ( non logged-in user ) when they access dashboard page. Thus, your modules that assigned to position 'es-dashboard-sidebar-after-newsfeeds'.

However, in the next release of EasySocial 2.0.x, we will be adding back the sidebar if admin assigned modules / apps to sidebar position. If there are nothing assigned to sidebar, then guest will not see the sidebar when they access your EasySocial dashboard.

If this issue happen to your logged-in user, then can you please provide us your Joomla admin access and your ftp account to that we can further investigate your issue?

Please advise.

Hope this help and have a nice day!
Sam

Thanks for your answer,

Do all theme missing module position in 2.0.2?
Do you know when 2.0.3 will be released so we get this module position back?
For me this is a big function that have been removed from 2.0.2, I not sure if I will go back to 1.4.12 and waiting for module position return back.

We don't have an ETA right now as we also have several teething issue that we need to address but expect for an update this week

Anyway, to be honest, I don't really see a point of having to switch back to 1.4 simply because you need a module position for the dashboard guest view.

You move back to 1.4.12 because of the sidebar modules on the dashboard? I really think this is something you need to re-consider

There are so much more benefits from 2.0 as compared to a sidebar on 1.4 . Anyways, the next 2.0.3 will have the sidebar again if you have modules.
