Hi,
I just upgraded to the latest version of Blogger but can't seem to retrieve my updated key. Can you send it to me?

One of the main reasons for the upgrade was that my blog appears to have been hacked. Can you advise me on how to close the security breach that has allowed someone to hack my account?

thanks

Ben Tisdall
Hello Ben,

Regarding
I just upgraded to the latest version of Blogger but can't seem to retrieve my updated key.
What key do you refers to? Is it API key?
If yes, API key doesn't change if you have updated, and from my understanding, you are not able to update Easyblog.
You can manually update Easyblog using extension manager.
If no, please do explain more.

Hope this will help.
Thanks.

It's only getting partway with the upgrade (see screenshot attached).

If you look at my blog - http://www.westcountrylets.co.uk/blog/

You'll see that a user called Andrews has uploaded dozens of spam blog entries

OK, I managed to do the manual upgrade. Can you shed any light on how I block the spammer who is posting to my blog?

Hello Ben,

Glad to hear your issues regarding upgrade problem has been solved.
About spammer, you can enable the moderate post option-the post created will be under the moderation.
Another important thing is you can put reChaptcha on your site. So that every time spammer want to spam your site he need to put the captcha.

If you have anymore question, please don't hesitate to ask us and please create a new ticket. I will mark this ticket as resolved.
Thanks again and have a wonderful day.
Thanks.

Hi, OK I will try adding the Captcha etc. However can you tell me

1. How I can bulk delete the spam postings (or do I have to delete them one by one (which will take a long time)

2. On http://www.westcountrylets.co.uk/blog/ you will see a line of vertical stars under each post in the ratings section. Is this formatting a bug in easyblog?

thanks

Hello Ben,

First of all, can you delete all backend site cache and browser cache as well because maybe the site and browser are still caching the site.
This is because you just updated your site to the latest version and maybe the site and browser are still caching the site.

After that if the second problem are still there, you need to provide us with backend access and ftp access as well so that we can help you configure this more faster.
You can put your credentials in the form provided below. Only our support team can view the credentials.

About the first issue regarding bulk deleting, you can select multiple article to be deleted. I am sorry for the inconveniences causes.

Hope this will help.
Thanks.
