Upgrade from Joomla 2.5.22 - 3.x

Hi Stackideas Team & Community

I really need to update to 3.x. want to get Wanderes etc. Maybe someone could point me in the right direction. I am not one of these SSH wizards. Might be able to get a friend with this. But as far as I can figure my situation is that I am running Plesk 11 with a PHP version which is too old for Joomla 3.x. Further I understand that it is possible to install a patch which includes a more up to date PHP. Then if I understand things correctly I can then upgrade to Joomla 3.x. Any tips greatly appreciated :-)

I guess what is required as a first step are some kind of SSH login details that must be in Plesk somewhere!?!

Hello Paul,

You should check this in the Plesk forums if you are using Plesk for your site on how you can upgrade PHP to the latest version. I don't actually have much experience with the latest version of Plesk personally
