Hello Guys
I tried to update from 3.9 to 5.0.21 as suggested from you and from my Joomla website control panel.
Initially I tried through Joomla control panel, and it failed. So I resorted to download packages from your site, customer area (my dashboard).
I tried a first time downloading component only. Updating through "extensions install" stuck there. So I exited from control panel .
EasyBlog came not accessible. Then I tried once more with full package file. There finally I had a warning message from my server: file size exceed.....
Then I checked the package file and understood (too late!!) that is a huge file. I checked php.ini and found max-file-size parameter at 10M. Of course, server rejected EasyBlog installer package.
I modified php.ini max-file-size parameter to 20MB.
Then server was able to accept that file. But probably that was a complete new installation. So I exit without terminate.

I have some backup copies of site, which host routinely does hourly and daily.

May you help me to restore my Easyblog with old settings ?
Hi Gino,

I've installed easyblog 5.0.21 on your site and everything should be working correctly now. You can access your blog here, http://www.aviorama.travel/aviorama-blog .

By the way the reason why there are some issue with the installation on your site is because of the following plugins that causing some conflict during installation:
1) System - SocComments
2) Recache
3) JotCache
4) MijoSEF

When I disabled all four plugins above the installation can run smoothly without any issue. Hope these help.

Hey Gino,

May i know do you have download the launcher installer? Because this file size only around 1MB++.

Regarding the old setting will be stored in your database, can you provide us with your Joomla backend, PHPYMADMIN and FTP access so we can help you check on this?

thank you.

I did not put attention to those plugins, as on previous installation, until 3.9 , all went smoothly.
