Hi,
Can you please upgrade my EasyBlog to the latest version?
The last time I tried to upgrade it, I lost all of my styling for the blog.

I have provided login details
Hi Robert,

It looks like the provided access does not have super user access(http://take.ms/PekX2).

Please advice. Thanks.

Hey Robert,

I am able to access now.

Since this is a major upgrade which contains many changes, before I perform the upgrade for you, I would like to confirm whether you have already backup your site as a precaution?

Also, the lost of styling is actually related to cache so if you do experience it after the upgrade, you can try clearing your browser cache, restart the browser or even the pc and see if the issue persists.

Hey Robert,

I have helped you upgrade EasyBlog to the latest version(http://take.ms/WcvVz).

Check it out and let us know how it goes. I noticed that you have some template overrides also so you should check and make sure the overrides are working with the latest version.

The latest news module isn't working as it was previously, which is the issue I before when attempting to upgrade. Can you check this?

Hey Robert,

Not sure what you mean by not working as it was previously. Are you referring to the layout?

If that's the case, can you provide me a screenshot of the module before the upgrade so I can compare?

Let us know, thanks.

When I renamed this override file in your template(http://take.ms/vTIPN) and set the module to horizontal in the module settings(http://take.ms/P3GvM), this is how it looks like in the frontend: http://take.ms/3i1dV

Is that how the module looks like before the upgrade?

I see. Thanks for clarifying Robert.

The issue actually occurred because the override that was used is outdated in the latest version, which is why I renamed the override file.

If the layout looks fine without the override, you can leave the renamed file as it is or remove it. When creating new overrides in the future, you should definitely refer to the latest theme files in EasyBlog.

I'm not sure if you are having similar issues to other modules as there are numerous override files for several EasyBlog modules in your template. So if you have similar issues, you can try renaming those files and see how it goes.

Also, feel free to start a new thread if you need anymore assistance.
