Hello Support

This is how my last botched attempt to upgrade worked out.

now there is a little Upgrade symbol again in the back end of Easy Social telling me that I can upgrade from 1.2.1 too 1.2.2

What should I do?

If I upgrade to 1.2.2 will every thing be OK.

What ever happens I do not want to lose my imported Community Builder Fields.

thanks

Paul
Hello Paul,

Upgrading should be relatively easy. Download the latest installer from http://stackideas.com/dashboard and install it just like how you installed EasySocial. After that, all you need to do is to choose the network installation and let it run

Hi Mark

i.e. I need to install this here: com_easysocial_launcher_starter_1.2.3_joomla3.0
???
Although I am still on Joomla 2.5.something. The Joomla3.0 at the end of the above zip file makes me nervous!

Hello Paul,

Don't worry about that. In the future we'll be using a single file name without any Joomla version because it works across all versions.

Hi Support

I have tried this several times now and have not got it to work. I tried both the directory method and the network method.

With the directory method I get this:

There are some changes made on the launcher for the latest version. Please re-download the launcher from our site at http://stackideas.com/dashboard

With the network method I get this:

Sorry, there was some errors when trying to extract the queries.zip file. Please contact our support team.

I am on 1.2.1 after 1.2RC4 and am trying to go to 1.2.3!!!

best

Paul
